dc.description.abstractPhysical properties of soft matter can be controlled by deforming molecular or inter-molecular structures and beneficially utilized for high functional photonic applications and display. By using helically arranged chiral nano photonic band structure with soft matter, we could build up high quality 1-dimensional, 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional photonic band structure. We discuss the electrical wavelength tuning method of chiral photonic cavity and stretchable gel properties. We also discuss chiral micro lasing behavior from this chiral nano structure for hyper color emission display and beyond display applications. From the view point of soft matter in display application, we also briefly discuss the display emotion technology by using of soft actuator technology.-
