A reconfigurable block cell antenna (BCA) concept is proposed for millimeter-wave (mmWave) 5G applications. The 4×4 BCA is exemplified using a low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) process. All ports of the proposed BCA achieve a reflection coefficient below - 10 dB in 28.5 GHz. The proposed BCA features a maximum gain of 7.6 dBi and 15 different modes that can support multiple polarizations and a half of the spherical beamsteering angle.-
