- Abstract
- In order to predict the performance of personal protective equipment to understand the flow phenomenon of dirty air to penetrate into the clothing from the outside is important. In this study the flow field and concentration field in air flow penetration through clothing is analyzed with various factors. such as boundary layer thickness, frequency, diffusivity, etc. Air flow and aerosol deposition models are used to determine the skin deposition rates of aerosols through clothing. And as a result obtained important primary factors in the prediction model for air flow penetration through clothing. Navier-Stokes equation and mass transfer equation are solved using the commercial software, FLUENT.
