- Abstract
- A temperature and strain rate dependent strain hardening law is proposed to describe stress-strain-temperature-strain rate relations. The formulation is purely empirical, based on experimental data of an alloy steel. Agreement between the proposed temperature-strain rate dependent strain hardening law and experimental data is very good over a wide range of temperatures and strain rates.
