dc.description.abstract1H-Azadienes were synthesized from allyl azides by ruthenium catalysis under mild and neutral conditions. Applications of the 1H-azadienes were demonstrated for the one-pot synthesis of N-benzyl-1-azadienes, hydrazones, tertiary carbinamines, dieneamide, and N-cyclohexenylacetamides. Two 1H-azatrienes were also synthesized, which were transformed to pyridine derivatives.-
