- Abstract
- Investigated the correlations between Japanese high school athletic teams' performance norms and 4 measures of cohesiveness suggested by A. V. Carron et al (see record 1986-20987-001). Ss were 1,972 Japanese high school students from 114 track and field, basketball, or Kendo teams. The 4 measures of cohesiveness were individual attractions to group-task, individual attractions to group-social, group integration-task, and group integration-social. Analyses of questionnaire data reveal significant correlations between scores on the group's performance norms and the 4 cohesiveness scores.
