dc.description.abstract | It is common in industry to manufacture the product using the multiple lines to meet the customer demand. In this manuscript, the designing of control chart for processes with multiple independent lines is presented. The control chart coefficients are determined for various levels of the specified average run length. The average run lengths for various shifts are given for different level of sample size and multiple lines. The efficiency of the proposed control chart is discussed with the existing control chart based on a single line. The tables are presented for industrial engineers and illustrated with the help of simulated data and industrial examples. | - |
