dc.description.abstractIn this manuscript, a new hybrid exponentially weighted moving average chart using the exponential distribution is given. The complete structure of the proposed control chart is given. A Monte Carlo simulation is given for the proposed control chart. The necessary measurements to show the performance of the proposed chart are also given. The proposed control chart performs better than the existing control charts. The application of the proposed chart is given with the aid of a real data. ? 2017 American Scientific Publishers.-
