dc.description.abstract | The powder design parameters such as the particle size, the chemical composition, and the composition of lubricant affect the final properties of P/M products. This paper aims at finding a relationship of powder design parameters (particle size, the composition of graphite, the composition of lubricant), material properties (6 for compaction, 3 for sintering), the final properties (density, density deviation, stress state, strain, strength, elongation) by regression method through the powder compaction, dilatometry experiments, and numerical simulations. Shima-Oyane constitutive model for compaction and Mc-Meeking constitutive model for sintering were employed for numerical simulation. The regression models which show the correlations between the powder design parameters and the final properties were developed. This model gives the information of the powder design parameters to optimize the final properties of P/M product. | - |
