- Abstract
- Plants use pathogen-related (PR) proteins to fight against pathogens. Successful defense depends on both when and how much PR proteins are delivered to appropriate subcellular locations for action. While PR gene expression has been elucidated in detail, little is known how the nascent PR proteins traffic to their locations upon pathogen infection. In this study, we focus on examining the localization of two delegates of PR protein PDF1.2a and CHIA in Arabidopsis leaf tissue, performed trafficking assay to investigate how trafficking and secretion of PR proteins are controlled during the plant immune response.
